Suitable for use with Contactless card readers, Electronic access systems and RFID readers. Supply voltage - 8 to 30 V. Power consumption - usually 20 mA at 15 V (without feeding the readerWiegand is a standard interface used in contactless card readers. WIE485 is able to convert the Wiegand interface to a format usable by a RS485. Thus, standard contactless card readers can be easily connected to a PC or similar system.WIE485 converts Wiegand protocols to a format suitable for a serial bus RS485. The output of WIE485 is directly the number of the card which can be read by RS485 using the MODBUS RTU protocol. This enables further processing of the card number by a PC software or another system to be carried out very easily. The WIE485 module processes data using the following protocols: Wiegand 26, 30, 32, 40 or 42.

(Other versions of the Wiegand protocol can be added upon request.) The required type of Wiegand protocol can be chosen using the switch on the upper side of the device.WIE485 also contains an output providing power supply to the contactless card reader. Thus, WIE485 and the reader can be fed using a single power supply unit.Downloads.

The W2RS232 model is part of the W2X family of bidirectional Wiegand Converters developed to interconnect security equipment. The W2X family has an autodetection feature allowing the connection to any standard controller or reader without any previous configuration or setup procedure, this feature speeds up the installation process. With the anodized aluminum enclosure these units are the most robust on the market.

Features. Bidirectional converter. Autodetect Wiegand device (Controller/Reader). Support Wiegand formats from 6 to 96 bits. Up to 3 general-purpose I/O ports. DescriptionWiegand converters were developed for the security market to connect control access equipment like keypads and card readers with Wiegand interface, to other interfaced equipment like the serial port of a computer.

The Wiegand to RS232 Converter automatically configuration feature will speed up the installation process and readiness of the overall system. This converter supports a wide range of Wiegand formats, from 6 to 96 bits long, allowing the connection to any reader or controller on the market. It’s possible to control the LED and Beep signals through the W2RS232’s general-purpose I/O ports (GPIOs). The tamper port (TMPR) is used to monitor tamper signal from readers or controllers, or it can be reconfigured to a general-purpose I/O port.

Converter

The converter’s setup is reduced to a minimum for rapid installation. The converter RS232 has two working modes, namely input-mode, and output-mode.

It is not the only available app that works like the Installous but it is extensively rated as the best Android app. Descargar aptoide repository.

Converter Wiegand Serial

Wiegand to RS232 Converter Working Modes Operating in input modeThe Wiegand to RS232 Converter will operate in input-mode when connected to the output interface of a Wiegand compliant device e.g., a keypad or card reader. In this mode, the converter will automatically convert a Wiegand 6-bit up to 96-bit input sequence to a formatted binary frame. It will also detect changes in the Tamper input signal and reports to the controller.

The converter sets the two general-purpose I/O to output and will accept commands from the serial interface to control the GPIO0 and GPIO1.Operating in output modeThe converter will operate in output-mode in two situations: when connected to the input interface of a Wiegand compliant device or if not connected to any device. In this mode, the converter will convert data received from the serial interface to Wiegand frames. It will also accept commands to control the Tamper signal. Changes in the general-purpose inputs GPIO are converted to commands and sent out through the serial interface. Specifications Electrical characteristics Operating voltage rangeMin. 7V DC and Max.
